Looking for some professional SEO help. 12th October 2010 4:46 PM
Does anyone know or can recommend a professional SEO business that could write an unbiased report on the standard of seo work that has already been carried out? It must be written in such a way as to be presentable in a county court and totally unbiased. The report has to be written on company headed paper, with either experience or qualifications in seo listed. I'm not after a freebie but I stress that the report must be written professionally.. Oh and it is kind of urgent....ta
Today I have recieved an email asking me to quote a client for a new boiler, they had previously been sent a quotation from Connaught which has been forwarded to me to see whether I can better it. When I read it I came to one or two conclussions, either I am totally under charging people and I really should be a millionaire by now. Or Connaught were massively over charging clients.

A new gas pipe + new combination boiler + split existing heating system in 2 plus fit secondary gas meter ... total cost of materials

I guess a lot depends on where your market is, and what your competition is. for me London + plumbers + Google adwords don't go together unless you have an open ended cheque book. It's to highly competitive and because of that the prices per keyword go through the roof. However having a new site which had quite a few localized pages added has worked out far more profitable for me through organic searches than ppc ever did.
When I watch it, it gives me great pleasure when one of the dragons asks for the profit & loss figures and what do the contestants value their business at. I remeber when I first started out on my own, went to the bank asked for a
I tend to get telephone calls like this 2 or 3 times a month, calls normally come from either Manchester, London or Liverpool, the guy who calls from Liverpool has been calling me for the last 5 years his voice is so distinctive it's always based around holiday planning charts for either the police, fire brigade or Great Ormand St hospital. I give them so much verbal abuse I'm not sure as to why they keep calling..

All seem to have good websites themselves but so many of them fail to deliver to their customers. Last year I got involved with 2 SEO companies for my other website, one said what you need is links thousands of links, being a bit naive I said ok, ching that be

I took out a ppc campaign once, in London the plumbing industry is very competitive so the cost of keywords is expensive with some terms costing between

Hi new to this forum so hello. Only joined because mylocal kept spamming my email box for me to upgrade to a premium listing, not bad for a site that hates spam
Anyway back to the topic I guess this could be said for many goods nowadays not just cars, as someone who has been in the heating and plumbing industry for 20 odd years it use to be the case that a gas boiler would last 20 - 25 years only problem with this is the manufacturers never really made much money on the spares. Nowadays the cost of a gas boiler is reletively cheap, the same can be said for televisions and all white goods in a throwaway society. Manufacturers know that within a period of say 3 - 5 years the product will breakdown and will then be able to recoup there investment on the repair costs and spares. Last year I was at a well known boiler manufacturers head office where they proudly announced that they purchased all their printed circuit boards from China @50p each and proudly sold them to the retail outlets @
