I'm not sure anyone would want the headache, or the sleepless nights, nuisance customers, untold paperwork, chasing late payments. Just to name a few reasons. So I'd be inclined to leave it to the most annoying person I know.........

Is there such a thing as a sale? Or just a blatant rip off before the price is reduced?

Nope thumbsdown

Well, I think that then has finally put the nail in the coffin...

Been to one as a guest, know a few people who swear by them and claim to generate some good business leads.

For me personally, (and the one I went to) I felt it was a bit full on, with everyone just wanting to sales pitch me to death, and there seemed to be a lot of rules, you must bring a lead etc. In the end, I didn't think it was viable for my kind of business, as we are a one off low cost product, so the membership fees and associated time commitment didn't make it viable.

Maybe your kind of work though you'd find it more beneficial? Wouldn't hurt to try it out as a guest and see what you think.

I tend to find most offline networking groups are a bit full on on the sales pitch front

So was the continental breakfast worth the tenner then?

Anyone on here joined one of these chapters? If so was it worth it? Did it generate more business leads? Or was it just a lot of time wasteing?
I have been invited to one, but don't want to waste lots of time for nothing.

Seems extortionate!

I just got my first year's public liability (
I don't have a problem recruiting, I can place an advert and will be inundated with replies. The problem I have is getting good quality people, recently took someone on, it took him six days to do one job that should only have taken two. Financially it never effected me as he was on a price, but the earache I got from the customer was unbelievable...
You can ignor PR provided the page you are interested in is in the Google index it will help.

In my experience the PR of the page or site doesn't seem to make much if any difference. The numbers of links and referring domain names does.

The key consideration are whether the pages is related to your topic and how many outgoing links it has already.

If that's the case then, is this site only really beneficial to those who work in SEO? Or am I just being thick?
The end for Gaddafi! 23rd August 2011 6:08 PM
Only hope it doesn't slide into a land of Mad Max Trouble is, no doubt us and America will come in heavy handed and insist on our Western Style democracy and type of government, which never works in this region, breeds corruption and discontent.

It has a similar effect in this country too, it justs seems that wherever us Brits go, more trouble follows whether it be some war torn country or somwhere like Ibiza, no other country causes so much mayhem around the world like the UK does. We never take on the big boys like China who have a terrible human rights record because we know we'd get our butts kicked... funny that
