So now you can play your games as before, but now with news outlets publishing apps, you can get your news fix from within Facebook.
So with Google trying to make Google+ more sticky by migrating older products such as Places, it looks like we are returning to a portal style web, with big networks desperately trying to keep you onboard a single platform.
Be interesting to see how things like newspaper outlets monetize this functionality, if they are allowing their content to be read via their FB app?
So maybe we all need to go down the app route, mobile apps, FB apps... wonder when the app bubble will pop
