With the location of our Poole day nursery & preschool, we are in a busy community and have strong links in our surrounding areas. We also have the luxury of being close to the beaches and glorious countryside. This enables us to have a wide variety of activities and experiences for the children to enjoy.
We develop the children’s independence as much as possible and listen to their point of view and ideas of how they want their nursery to look and what activities they want to do. In preschool we have a children’s council that allows the children the time to discuss matters that are important to them. They have a say on if they want to change the layout of the room and what role-plays etc they would like as well as a choice of new resources.
This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.
