It’s very hard to know what you’re going to get when you just go through a long list of clearance companies on Google or Yellow Pages. I chose Spires for furniture clearance because they were the quickest to reply of the most reasonable quotes.

I hoped the lower quote wouldn’t mean dodgy service - you never know when just searching for ‘man & van’ type services. It certainly didn’t! They exceeded my expectations. The team of 3 were faultless - 2 men & 1 very nice lady. Pleasant, amenable, respectful, efficient, prompt.

I’m very pleased I went with Spires & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I had furniture collected from a house and garage just south of Cambridge, but I’d certainly use them for a garden/office etc. I didn’t need a full bereavement clearance, but from the impression that I got, I’d recommend people with their attitude.

I’d even suggest you don’t waste too much time getting dozens of quotes from companies with City Centre offices, uniforms, elaborate websites & freephone numbers, because this team ticked all the boxes.
