This is my local Court. The one time I’ve filed there, I had to chase them to log my claim in the first place. Took them 7 days after I stood in line for an hour to file/pay at the window in person. Their drop-box doesn’t work so don’t bother. (Someone had warned me about that but I didn’t listen :( I dropped something off in it but its still not logged (6 weeks later!!). I sent an email to chase them for the Defence that was meant to be posted to me. Three days later, I’ve received NO RESPONSE. It is so bad in administration I expect the whole case to go missing at this rate. I’m surprised the Justice Department lets this court run in this way. I’ll be making a complaint to them. Worse than third world.

The court charges ?340 for divorce petitions. i find it rather pathetic that we are unable to call and find out the progress of our petition simply because no one picks up a simple phone call, yet the phone numbers are displayed neatly on line and on every correspondence.It's sad. Could it be mere negligence or can someone tell me what exactly is going on.
