Maniac films provide HD camera rentals for the advertising, corporate promo and indie filmmaker market. We also produce our own films and are involved in all aspects of documentary, sports, music videos, feature drama and corporate video production and post production including colour grading and visual effects. We do a lot of DVD authoring for small and large scale DVD production runs from local to household named brands.

We hire out video cameras, large sensor stills dslr cameras plus a wide range of 35mm prime lenses from Nikon, Voigtlander and Canon with adapters for EOS and micro 4/3rds cameras. We also rent out tripod's and grip (Crane, camera jib) from Sachtler, Ronford-Baker, Losmandy, ABC and Manfrotto with sliders from Glidetrack and dollys from Indie dolly, Manfrotto and custom build skater dollies too. We have apple boxes for hire and we sell Bluestar eyepeices.

We supply full shooting kits for indie feature films - from cameras with nanoflash solid state hdsdi recorders, full shoulder mount rigs with matt boxes, filters, electronic viewfinder's and a range of HD monitors, tripods, plus dolly and jib grip and audio with some great Rode boom poles, Sennheiser radio mics and Rode mics plus Rycote outdoor protection and full audio recording kits including solid state recorders from Edirol with portabrace cases and covers.
