Received a demand through the door for £5 to deliver an incorrectly stamped item. It directed me to the website to make payment and arrange delivery. After inputting everything required, I went to the section to Pay (PayPal or Credit Card). Neither option was working and no way to contact by phone. Alternative given was to buy postage stamps to cover the fee (our nearest Post Office is a mile away) and affix to form and post back or to call at the Sorting Office (3 miles away) to pay the fee and collect the item! We have a good local postman but I do find the £5 fee excessive and the system to pay and obtain the item broken and far from user friendly. I have rated my reply on on the overall service but this experience has reduced what would otherwise be a good rating.

Wednesday 5 /12/18. I have beenWaiting in for a parcel that was delivered to a different block of flats a block away from where I live at 19 Burleigh Close NR30 2RU
. Luckily for me a lovely honest foereign lady brought it to my flat during the evening . So no thanks to the postman of that day that I received my parcel . NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!!!

I have always found the staff and delivery drivers to be polite and helpful .
And always willing to help with any problems.

I missed the postman one day so I did a redelivery for the following week, but no one turned up,a and again still waiting. Rang sorting office but nobody answered phone. Rang a different number to the office and was told by an automated machine to ring back later. Terrible service

post woman will not open the gate and put letters through the letter box for some reason so today's mail was soaking wet and blown under the car .
phoning to complain was useless because its all automated .
Why is it so hard to open a gate and put the letters through the letterbox?
All my post people have been very good over the years with no complaints so i hate to complain over this but soaking wet scattered mail is not acceptable, if i had been away for a few days it would have been completely ruined that's if i could have found it

I have never had a problem when collecting from this depot; the staff are always polite and articulate, and on multiple occasions have gone out of their way for my convenience.
Unfortunately it would seem that the others here have found this listing purely through a complaint they had with the depot!

Well what a cheery answerphone message they have, full of such enthusiasm and charisma - or not.
Sorting Office refused to give my mother my package, despite her having ID with the identical address on. I tried to ring them to see if there was anything that could be done, as I'm up in Manchester at Uni, and got that bundle of joy message as my only guide to what could be done next, ie. nothing.
If this poor service is as a result of budgeting and staff cuts than I strongly feel something needs to be done soon to rectify the situation. If the poor service is as a result of an apathetic attitude than I'm simply appalled.

Waste of time having a contact number..... no information on anything! eg. opening hours.

Absolutely dreadful service; just a recorded message regarding redelivery and nothing about opening times or any other queries. School has had a large letter not delivered and there is no route to find out why!!
