I hold qualifications in counselling, counsellor supervision and group facilitation working privately and within organisations. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP) and the British Association for the Person Centred Approach (BAPCA), I work in accordance with their guidelines for ethics and good practice. I am accredited by the Counselling Society.

You can contact me for a free telephone consultation: an opportunity to find out what is on offer and whether it might help. Taking a step further, we can arrange an initial session for more in-depth exploration and a sense of the way that we might work together.
Following this, I usually suggest an initial four to six sessions before committing to a longer working relationship.
Length of Sessions & Therapy
Sessions with individuals are one hour long. For couples and groups the sessions will be longer, and this is arranged by negotiation. For brief, focussed therapy 3 or 4 sessions may be enough. This way of working is suitable if you have previous experience of therapy and are motivated to work intensely. For a longer and deeper exploration many find it beneficial to continue in therapy for several months or even years.
Regular sessions, usually weekly, create a momentum which helps the therapy to work. In the longer term, frequency might be reduced once the work is established.

Office Hours & Location
My practice currently operates from Monday to Friday and is based in West Hampstead, London NW6 for daytime sessions and Brondesbury Park, London NW6 for evenings.
West Hampstead is easily accessible from all areas of Central and Greater London, and Hertfordshire by tube, bus and overground train. Brondesbury Park is close to overground train and bus routes, and within 10 minutes walk of Kilburn tube station.
Parking is restricted in the area. Metered parking bays are available nearby.
