Canvey On Sea Sub Post Office | Canvey Island Post Office Counters

On a visit to this particular branch I felt discriminated (not being a British national). I had an application to fill out for my daughter for her first U.K. passport. I filled out all the relevant information needed and when I went to send the application, the lady at the counter who checked it said I needed to send my marriage certificate also even though in the booklet it clearly says is NOT needed since 2007!
Even so I returned home and put the original copy of my marriage certificate in with the envelope but unbelievably she said it wasn't original and would not send my application!
Feeling rather upset I went to another post office who spotted two errors (my own fault) which wasn't spotted previously and nothing was mentioned about the marriage certificate. When I asked about it they said it wasn't needed as I first thought any way
After rectifying the two errors my application was successful and now we are waiting to receive it. I personally will never use this particular post office again nor will I recommend it to any body else
