Amirata Rahimi

At SPRU the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex I learnt how science, technology and innovation shape society and how policy can guide them for public value. I built strengths in evidence informed analysis, systems thinking, horizon scanning and foresight, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate research and development and industrial strategy. I developed practical skills in stakeholder engagement, policy design, impact evaluation and responsible innovation with attention to ethics, inclusion, sustainability and data governance. This equipped me to translate research into clear recommendations for government, industry and civic organisations.
