Not showing up on Google Maps 18th July 2013 1:46 PM
Well, I don`t know whether registering a business page is related to automatically submitting your business to google maps. Iin addition Google want confirmation that you are the actual owner of the specific business.
Customer Service vs Compensation 17th July 2013 2:53 PM
Dreamraven, most reputable businesses do their best to prevent such situations, but sometimes everything goes out of control. In this case the best strategy is to compensate your clients.
Ok, here is the screenshot - what do I do now

OK, Steve, I will make a screenshot the next time.
It usually does it when I open MLF for the first time in this browser session and stops after I open a few threads. It opens some strange 404 Error page.
Telemarketing - Good or Bad? 13th July 2013 1:17 PM
There are too many people and organisations asking for personal details and people keep providing them with information. I do not know how this could be regulated (if possible at all). May be companies acquiring such details such be registered with a dedicated authority, which guarantee this company will not use the info against your wishes.
Hm, I am using Mozilla and I tried to clean everything - add-ons, extensions, etc. which might be causing the problem, but still got no clue what`s happening. May be it is the browser, as in chrome it works fine. I think I updated the browser version a few weeks ago.
Telemarketing - Good or Bad? 11th July 2013 4:14 PM
Yes and im told that TPS should block these but in reality they dont check. Also if the call originates outside of the UK TPS doesnt apply (well it didnt use to)

TPS is only an aid to cut down nuisance calls. The other way is not to give out your number - some companies insist so i either point blank refuse or use an old home number ( oops must have changed numbers and forgot to tell you ...) the only company that has my number is my bank & credit card company for fraud prevention!

By the way, I think many people voluntary provide their numbers for such purposes, without even realising it.

I remember my first week at the university- a few guys on the street were asking freshers to sign up for a free piece of pizza and some draw- all they wanted was my name, my e-mail and my phone number
Is this really true? 11th July 2013 4:10 PM
I have never thought about it, however I believe skype and Voip use different technology to connect peopel (or am I wrong). As far as I know Google Hangout allows up to 10 conversations, but I have not tried it. I hope someone who have more experience with skype and voip will join to explain better.
Having in mind the current technological advance, I cannot imagine what the world will be in let`s say 20 years. Would our children laugh that we have used keyboards or searched info in Google
