When you submit your site to Dmoz, just take care that you use your business name as a title and a proper description. Never use your targeted keyword for submission. Also, choose correct category and region. This will help you at some points to get your submission approved.

That's true. Though it does depend how many editors there are for your category as to how soon (or not) your listing request will be reviewed.

It's a mixed bag, different people have different opinions.

As mentioned in this thread from a while ago some struggle to get on to it as the process is done by people rather than robots!

It's free so it can do no harm to submit your site.
It'd be interesting to know what the cost will be?

I see why they are doing it but I don't believe it's necessary. As the article states, Sainsbury's and McDonald's seem to do ok?

Or is it me?
...."Our kids and our grandkids are teaching us how to be connected consumers," said Jim Farley, Ford 's group VP-global marketing, sales and service. "Kids don't use email anymore, they use Facebook.
Ahem, well I better own up...

....Flash Gordon by Queen.
...Suppose we will have to explain to our kids about this old fashioned thing called a record, which we used to save up our pocket money and buy

Vinyl, I can see a whole new thread developing.... ..which was your first ever record purchase?
I assumed that the Heston Blumenthal effect would do them some good and they would spread it out across their network. I'd be interested to know what the success (or not) of those sites where they implemented his ideas as they seemed good at the time. I don't remember the microwave part of the programme maybe I missed that bit!

I agree with the new Chairmans approach, to.... "move Little Chef from being just a sit-down [restaurant] to one that combines sit-down with takeaway and also a retail offer. That sort of hybrid retail solution enables me to talk to other brands to bring them in to our properties."

If it does that successfully then I think it has a chance of surviving.

If you enjoy football and would like to raise money for Charity then register to play in the 24 hour football match on 27/28th April.

It's all for a good cause, Marie Curie Cancer Care. So if you're not into football you can just donate.

Xmas - to close or not to close? 28th December 2011 3:35 PM
You started on the port and mince pies already?..

Never to early to start...

...These few days between xmas and New year are quite odd.....:

Yes it seems strange every year, but it's good to play catch up on those jobs that have been previously sidelined.
