Hello Anita

If you have a specific question, go to the forum home page, select the category that is most appropriate. You will see, above that section, a "Start New Thread" button, where you can post. I hope that helps, and, no, you are not wasting your time here.

For those that don't wish to rest in peace, someone has invented a coffin that plays music on a loop for the afterlife. The tracks can even be updated by your friends and relatives.

What a crying shame, 12 months after this thread was started, it looks like it's all over for HMV.

Use it or lose it - but it seems it is too late! Yet, another hole in the high street. Although I buy most CDs online, I also like to visit and buy from HMV.

Again, very sad. The first store opened in Oxford Street, and this link contains some very nostalgic images

I did hear that independent specialist records shops are opening in the US, that appeal to a niche market. Also, Bob Dylan has released just 100 copies of his new album, which have been hidden in specialist collectors' record shops. This is a great ploy to attract people back into these shops.
Although a super prison would be much more cost effective, it comes with a lot of challenges. It seems that it's certainly not something that should be rushed into without consultation.

Yes, it is sad news. But even sadder for people that have vouchers or goods to return, as they will not be honoured or accepted.

What do you all think of The Dame's new single? On first viewing, I found the video a little scary, but it's great to know that the chameleon of rock and pop can still surprise us after all these years.
I'm looking forward to the album.

I've heard it will happen at 11.15am, but is that GMT or what? Apparently, the only place we can hope to survive is in a small village in France, where the aliens are ready to save us all
