Christmas down under 23rd December 2011 7:21 AM
I heard this on the radio this morning, and it gives us an amusing perspective of celebrating Christmas in summer. I, for one, have never left the UK at this time of year.

So what is everyone hoping to get and give for xmas presents?

It feels right now like I'm getting a cold for Christmas - can we include "unwanted Xmas pressies" in this thread?

No rear speakers? Tight gits! Get yourself down Halfords

Don't tell me they've done away with the passenger door mirror as well

No, the passenger door mirror is there. But how are my passengers supposed to head bang and play air guitars in the back without speakers? Peugeot obviously didn't consider this.

I posted previously asking for advice about changing my car, and again about satnavs.

For Christmas I would have liked an Audi TT, but bought myself another Peugeot 207 last Saturday. All seems fine, but it appears that there are no rear speakers. I have looked on various forums, and indeed Peugeot decided to do away with the rear speakers even though the grills are there in the rear doors - what's all that about? They managed to include them in my previous 207.

I settled on a TomTom satnav for my other half's Christmas present, so thank you to all that advised me on that.

BBC News - Google denies Google+ death reports

Looking slightly worrying - clearly they need to develop beyond the Ghost Town feel!!

I understand that google have only just allowed business pages on google+, so it really is only early days.

My only comment is that Google+ looks a bit empty at the moment but it may well take off so 5 minutes is worth it.

Yes, it's very much a ghost town. On the other hand we'll be all set up and ready to go, and once it really takes off, we shall be a couple of the original members.
