Happy Birthday Steve !! 16th May 2014 9:32 AM

Happy birthday Steve...

Just out of interest is a school legally obliged to have a board of Governors? And does the school have to implement what the Governors recommend?

I generally read the Mail online, because it is free it also allows the readers to leave comments. Not sure how newspapers such as the Sun and the Times compare when you can only read them online with a subscription. I also read the Telegraph at least once a month, but that's only find out who's recently died in the obits column....

Apart from choking on your coffee, how would you feel if your daughters brought this gentleman home and said, "dad we wanna get married"

I think most Government backed schemes where tax payers money is used cost more in the long run and it is always at the expense of the taxpayer. Greendeal & Warmfront all cost more to run and operate, than what it would if an individual went to a local contractor and had the same product installed.

Finally cracked it As my old Grandma use to say some of the family were just born naturally thick...Only took me 24hrs to work out, I wasn't using either the username or password in the outgoing server....Right moving on to question number 2

On the main computer, emails once read are deleted and are then sent to the deleted box, both the Ipad and the Samsung Galaxy S3 constantly show these as new emails, so according to these gadgets I have 1600 new emails, even if I delete them from the phone and Ipad they just reappear in matter of minutes. However this does not happen with the Iphone....any ideas? Thanks

I think I got the email on Saturday as they suspended my account

Well just thought I'd give it another go before I go to bed and have just managed to send an email albeit totally wrong. Have just read this about using the gmail serverhttp://www.avforums.com/threads/o2-email-on-3-ipad.1436012/ and although it worked, my gmail address appeared in the delivery address bar which is not what i wanted. Not sure whether I'm making much sense with this

Hi Steve, I'm guessing that the email settings will be exactly the same as the iphone. I dont see why it should be any different? which is smtp.o2.co.uk

I can not believe that I have spent nearly 12 hours on trying to sort this out, if it isn't sorted by Friday it will end up in the recycle bin. My patience is running out...

Anyone got a clue? thought it would be straight forward like me iphone, is it heck  can receive emails although can not send, anyone got any ideas? Surely there is something straightforward for this to work and i cannot see how it can be different from the iphone. Had a search on Google, just mid numbingly boring reading all that
