Not really sure the UK is in a position to criticise Greece, considering our own national debt of 1.5 trillion..... at least the Greeks kept it in the billions.... And we still continue to borrow on a monthly basis

If they want financial stability then it needs to be dealt with now, if it's left till 2017 then the euro will remain an unstable currency......

I met the secretary of state for business, innovation and skills around 18 months ago, Vince Cable at the time. He smiled and waved at me as he crossed the pedestrian crossing in front of me...... Other than that, no one.....

So Greece's banks and stock market close for the day, the rest of Europe's stock markets nose dive and investors start buying gold.... This will be a turbulent week for the financial markets until the results of the Greek referendum are known.... For any of you that like the idea of being a reseller.... exporting wheel barrows may well be worth looking into   

Somewhere up in the loft gathering dust I have a 5 million drachma note, I'll quite happily donate it to the Greek crisis, it's worth is around £2. Greece should never have been allowed to join the Euro in the first place, it already had huge debts and high inflation. It benefited Greece by joining the euro it didn't benefit any other country.... And sooner or later we'll all find out if we're all to pay the consequences of allowing them to join. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the euro.... 

I'll fill it in later, but only because you are not bribing us to fill it in with a naff prize for one lucky participant who takes part of the survey...... Not sure whether that makes you a tight git though!...

I believe although I'm willing to be corrected that regardless of however many companies have taken over the original company your employment status will be from your original starting date. Unless that is you were made redundant on each takeover and then re-employed by the new company. If you were transfered here from another country, then that is continious employment. Not knowing what the SA employment laws are so have no idea whether they have redundancy packages or not. But as you are now in the UK, I'm guessing UK employment law / rights will supersede SA this link and this one may help.

It would probably be advisable to contact a solicitor that specialises in employment law and pay them for 1hr to get all the correct information, that way you won't get fobbed off by your current employer.........

The guy actually called this morning so I recorded it and emailed the conversation to the insurance company. Otherwise it's his word against mine, his wife was with him, she was the insured party, so he must have been driving with her consent. My insurance company also telephoned him today and he admitted full responsibility. Not sure whether I can claim for lost earnings as I'm now having to wait 48hrs for a replacement vehicle.... Anyway have decided to treat myself to a lucky dip on tonights euro millions....my luck has to change some time
