I can't remember a year when the UK wasn't in a conflict somewhere in the world, fortunately for me when I was in the sappers I was pretty much useless at playing soldiers so never got sent anywhere apart from the guardhouse. My military career kind of mirrored my fathers national service record, spending much of our time locked up
IMHO I think the cheap SEO days are numbered. High volume, low quality and spammy links, poorly written and spun articles have had their day, especially if you value your business and reputation. As with all things, you get what you pay for.

You can also pay a lot of money to a UK SEO and end up with the same. Trouble is you have no idea whether or not they are go to sub out the work to a third party until you see some of the results coming through. And just what is a fair price for good quality SEO work in the UK?
Credit where credit is due, they are great at marketing themselves via email, only 10 today...
For me it was Slade's Merry Christmas, 1973. I was 11 at the time
Well it wouldn't take too long for it to have an effect on us should the Iranians decide to carry out the blockade, I think I read somewhere that the UK stores enough gas to last for a period of no more than 2 weeks. Thankfully it won't effect us as we cook with a halogen hob and have solar panels.

Can honestly say I've never played any online games
Haven't been to one for around 10 years, the last one I went to was in Harlow. There was around 3 or 4 customers in a 40 something seat restaurant, the only thing that was hot was the tea. The glossy menu always looked more appetizing than the actual dish that was served, but if your tired and hungry it's amazing how nice muck can really taste... Still, sad to see another British icons demise.
Would seem that there on the way back up, had a punt 10 days ago and up 20% already.....Beats plumbing for a living
I voted for number one, although I feel that the HMRC will do more damage to small businesses than the recession ever will with

It always boggles me why some people expect SEO to be done and results in, before you agree to pay for it.

Would you pay the local builder for an extension, before he started? A deposit maybe but you certainly wouldn't pay the full wack upfront, in the hope that you get what you are expecting for your money. Because you know the builder is never going to be seen again. Why should a customer gamble his/her money on what may or may not be achieved 3 months down the line? Only to be told on poor results, that if they chuck another couple of grand at it, they might achieve better results in another couple of months... Also I don't understand why the costs would be more expensive if it was results based. Why should the customer take the risk of poor substandard seo work?
