So Boris is knifed in the back by Gove, who after years of proclaiming he never wants to be the PM, has had a sudden change of heart because a few friends reckon he would do all right! Boris's position was untenable after he lost the support of Gove, and I suspect there will be years of bitterness in the Tory ranks due to the last couple if weeks! Personally glad Boris is out of the race, but I think he took a huge political gamble supporting and leading a cause he never really believed in, just to get a shot at the top job which is now out of reach.
