At least they respect the referee in rugby, and American football. That's what is lacking in football!

The sexist snowman or the world gone mad? 13th December 2017 11:15 AM

It's hard to comment on this without a huge bucket of bias because the Daily Fail are to me a huge HUGE part of the problems we have in this country. However, this is hilarious. The problem being everyone loves being offended on someone else's behalf.

I think it was Richard Osman that posted on Twitter a while back, if you want a happier life, never ever read the comments ....

It's snow joke 12th December 2017 6:32 PM

So I live in Coventry and we've just had proper snow for the first time in a long time. Do you love snow or does it just annoy you?

It's been an interesting day for me as my daughter's nursery was closed so I had to take her to a client meeting. Luckily they home school so they didn't mind at all. I very nearly didn't make it off the drive though, two neighbours had to step in and push my car over the ice!

So despite my love of snow and really enjoyable walking and snowman making on Sunday it's really made today a bit stressful! Driving on ungritted roads isn't much fun to me and I lost time I could have been working as I had my daughter all day.

Has the snow affected your business? If you sell salt or sledges you must be laughing.

It's definitely not your forte!

Who works at the weekends? 12th December 2017 3:42 PM
I used to work weekends, mainly Sunday evening, catching up for the week ahead, along with most evenings  But I try and make it the exception now rather than the rule.

When working all week, for me proper downtime and family time is more important

I definitely don't work for the sake of it and make sure I get days without work when I can, the nature of my work means if something big is due then I just have to power through and work every spare hour. When the kids are older it'll be different.... Probably. Haha
