Who are your nearest competitors and what do they offer? What do you do that's better or different? You have to have a USP. Describe your ideal customer and work out where they are and when to contact them (e.g. are they on social media, in a workplace  (lunchtime service while people work?) etc). Sorry I don't know anything about your industry but imagine it is competitive so you'll have to work hard to get people to come to you rather than the cheapy hand car wash I'd imagine.

Best of luck.

Can honestly say I have still not ever bought anything from either Ebay or Amazon.. Amazon because it always looks far more expensive than other outlets and Ebay more to do with trust than anything else....”

Wow! Seriously? Half my wardrobe is from eBay, haha. Amazon is also a go-to for us as it's useful to be able to get such a range of things from one site and it used to be fairly cheap (not convinced it always is now). Amazon vouchers are often given as gifts in our family!

I didn't see the prime day hype, I don't have prime any more. I do love having prime though as next day delivery is awesome! Sounds like a damp squib though.

The new Dragons... 17th July 2015 4:34 PM

I haven't watched it the last couple of series. I liked it in the beginning but like anything, it gets dull after the 121st pitch as they are much of a muchness really. I would probably still watch it if I was bored and stumbled upon it but that is very rare. I tend to watch good drama series like GoT or sport like golf or the Tour de France.

According to this article it will improve our memories and other cognitive abilities! I do find having time for craft activities helps my well-being, so maybe being more arty has benefits beyond that too.

I think it went okay, hopefully I passed as I'm away next week when the retakes are!

I am pretty awesome at maths luckily. In fact my next OU course is a maths one.

I have completed 3 out of 4 work assignments now so it's going well.

I appear to be one of those people who is never busy enough as I am always doing several courses, running the business plus looking after my daughter. Crazy!

I'm not saying anything .. I'm from Africa..... but just read this

There needs to be a change in how we deal with this ,just giving money doesn't really help”

Yikes. That is fascinating and terrifying. When you look at it like this it's scary, the world has far too many people already. Not that I would suggest letting people die from famine etc, it does make for an interesting point. Educating people has to come hand in hand with providing charity, especially sex education although there must be a lot more than there was due to work to stop the AIDS epidemic.

What do you think should be done Andy?

 My experience:

Quiet times are times for focussing business marketing; thats what helps to create a 'Funnel' of prospects &  conversions. In truth, its important to devote some time to the marketing effort , even during the busy times

You're so right.  I need to be a lot stricter about this!

indeed you should be careful what you wish for lolol... As long as you get it all done there is no problem

Add in a toddler with d & v and the stage is set for a real challenge!  I always get it all done though.

Anybody for tennis... 12th July 2015 4:03 PM

It is brilliant! I saw that clip yesterday. I don't think Federer and Djokovic will be doing that this afternoon somehow...
