Twitter not for me? 13th September 2011 11:54 AM
I don't think it's the be all or end all. I guess it depends on your type of business as to how much you would benefit from Twitter. I only really use mine to tweet new blog posts we've written, any promotions/offers or news and to occasionally retweet anything I find interesting which is related to me/something i feel my followers might like.
I would definitely say it is too late for MySpace, but hey, they could suprise us...

I don't know a single person with a My Space account anymore and as someone else mentioned, it does seem to be filled with aspiring bands and their 'fans'
I would probably have to say my sat nav. I have terrible sense of direction and would be forever getting lost without it :-) plus, i'm a pretty useless map reader too.
prevent spam through contact form 13th September 2011 11:44 AM
The logic captchas are much more user-friendly.

I've often wondered whether some of the visual ones might infringe disability discrimination legislation.

A lot of the captcha forms have the ability for the user to listen to an audio captcha..this still may exclude some users however.

I have seen a lot more 'logic' type ones more recently..I hadn't noticed them so much before.
Flash and SEO 13th September 2011 11:41 AM
I would always avoid Flash if you are trying to optimise your website. particularly the site's navigation. it has always been my understanding that search engines cannot read Flash, images, etc. Hopefully, with the introduction of HTML5 we will be able to achieve similar effects which are more search engine friendly :-).

No Follow Links - Matt Cutts 13th September 2011 11:35 AM
I try not to take too much notice as to no-follow and do-follow. If your building links, it's good to have a selection of both, it looks more natural - a site that only has links that are do-follow then I imagine Google see's this as unnatural. Of course, I don't know how true this is, but I think it's good to have a selection of both. Obviously, do-follow is probably more beneficial..
You might be able to find a relevant blog which accepts guest blog posts at myguestblog dot com (sorry, just joined so cannot link this)
