Come on guys what is it?

As far as paying for advertising goes on Facebook I don't rate it I tried it for a company who targets 18-30 yr olds the prime age for users on facebook and most of them just liked the thing we did get traffic but no sales.

I do thing all social networking helps your website as it helps increase the word of your website and will generate new clicks etc

I only really worry with Facebook, Ecademy, Twitter, Digg, Stumble, 4 Networking, UKBF and this forum.

I disagree I am sorry but Twitter is a totally diffirent platform to your website for example

Say I ran an SEO Blog and I posted tips on that blog, Only people who knew the blog is there would see it but.

On my Twitter account say I have 1000 people following me and I post the link thats 1000 potential new customers and 1000 potential new people clicking my site which increases traffic and SEO.

I do agree though there is no point having a twitter update box on your website saying the last 5 things you put on Twitter as people already know cus they are on your website.

I agree but what if you run a blog and update it 10 times a day? Twitter ap will then post them on Twitter allowing you to get unlimuted traffic and link backs.

Wordpress sites do have that look but they are a great CMS System and also are loved by search engines.

There are 100's of reasons why people run a site on Wordpress.

Twitter can play a huge part in making your website make or break online.

Twitter can be used with Wordpress to update everytime you make a post which if you are using a blog is perfect.

Although it has a no follow on the links it can still have a huge benifit and will play a huge part in 2010 for online marketing.
