lol. I would love my own island... (sigh).

Ok, how about this question; how many plans have you thought about that you would like to use in one business, but ended up using in another, or different venture?
Ouch. Their shares have also dropped by 50% When they test these cars, don't they test everything on them? I mean people have to drive these cars around.
True. It is still young, but seriously abused. That abuse led to Google tightening its belt, which led to even more abuse, rinse, later, repeat.

I'm all for the updates, seriously, when it helps us find what we're looking for quickly, without having to wade through the snake-oil salesmen to get what we need. Problem is that at the moment people are taking a lot of collateral damage, so Google would need to fine tune these updates so that it only targets the ones intended.

I mean, if they can follow the footprints of links created, why can't they go to sites like SFS, and follow those footprints, and create lists of targets instead? It would be too much to do, I guess. having the algos set to look for certain criteria in a site would be easier. (IMHO - Don't shoot the messenger )
Business owners.

Not all. There are many business owners around here (in SA) I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them. lol

Those are pretty generic tips, but thanks for sharing them. Fine print is also one area that needs to be read with a fine tooth comb. A lot of times, that is when someone gets caught the most / fastest. And one tool lawyers love playing in court.
What Are You Listening To Now? 11th October 2012 7:29 AM
I seem to be the only one not addicted to Adele. Maybe there's something wrong with me. lol.

Silence for now, who knows what the morning brings. The "ipod" in my iphone is set with over 200 songs for when I am packing later, so it will probably be a lot more Japanese music.
Cold calls 11th October 2012 7:26 AM
Usually around here, when people call and start asking personal questions, nine times out of ten, its actually a scam. People have linked these calls to break ins.

Cold calling and Cold emailing definitely have a bad rep. But you can use newsletters in the same way, and I guess if you keep it as good a quality as your site where people register for these newsletters, it could be beneficial.

Call me nuts, but I would actually link newsletters to Guerrilla marketing techniques. That way, people never know what they're going to get next, and it might help gain conversions etc. I just enjoy keeping people on their toes.
edit: now seeing it I might change it, it is a bit disturbing

Gives new meaning to "I see you". I like it though, did you paint it yourself?

Ok, weird comparison, but its got me thinking. . I am busy moving at the moment, and was thinking last night that there are things I want to do with the new place that I never really had the chance to with the old house. Then I realize that those were more or less the same ideas I had when I moved over to the house I am leaving now.

Business is more or less the same, in some ways. You start a new business and decide on so many things you would like to do, but never really try out, whether its SEO, working on your marketing campaign a little more, or thinking about more products..

Do you have any regrets? Regrets about things you wanted to do with your business that never really came to fruition? And, of course what were your plans?

lol its hard to find time for things like that when you're running around like the White Rabbit late for a tea party. There is one in the village square here, about 10 minutes drive away.... I've just never been there.
