Record profits for Apple! 20th July 2011 1:03 PM
I love my apple iPhone its probably the most sophisticated phone I have ever owned. They have always been on the forefront of development it seems. many new smartphones are trying to copy the iphone.

Did you guys know that Steve Jobs might be stepping down though? IB Times says that because of his medical problems and because he has taken more medical leave, they might be weighing their options into getting a new CEO on board.

I read it here : IBTimes

I am sure though, when they all started out that, even though they had huge plans for their careers and businesses that they were still happy and comfortable in the positions they were. Maybe power and money really does corrupt when you become accustomed to a certain standing in life and you don't really want to live below that.

This is like a whole new area of "wrong" though. I can understand the money factor, but why on earth would you stake your reputation, the rep of everyone that is helping you, just to sell newspapers etc. I seriously don't get it...

Kinda makes me think of when I was at our blog this morning. Someone actually made a comment that was caught by akismet that said they could guarantee over 10 000 links to my site for some stupid price. After picking my jaw up off the floor, I thanked akismet for blocking it and deleted the comment permanently.

I am seriously NOT interested in someone doing my work for me and most definitely not interested in doing said work in such a way that it involves shady goings on. I am one of those old schoolies that believe a company's reputation is still important, and won't do anything to compromise that.

I guess it takes all sorts....

I have bookmarked it, thank you. Sticking to my principles is something I have always done, but when I think about what can be done for the company I work with..... I don't know. I just cannot believe that people would openly talk about things like that, knowing full well that the Big G can see it all. Maybe it's the adrenaline rush... it completely escapes me.

sjr4x4 I am by no means professional, being in the field for so little a time, but I have done well doing what I have done so far. Because of that, I will stick to it and make sure that I stay on the straight and narrow. It just makes me wonder though, would a person really go that far to make money? by any means necessary?

I was trying a number of forums but most of them was sent to the ''back yard''. It's really frustrating to go around at first.
I really want to get involved in a forum, make myself a part of it. I wonder when I can do that.
And now I understand why so many link builders went to black hat way

People want results and they want to make money, yesterday. It takes time to bond with a community, and it takes time to get involved to the point that you can add links, etc. It's a case of they want something for nothing. Which is entirely the wrong mind set to come to a forum with. More than likely you won't last long. I was recently promoted to moderator on another forum I frequent, and believe you me, the one thing they emphasize, as well as this forum, or any high quality forum, is that your threads, and 'community service' counts in your favor. People try circumvent that in so many ways, it weakens the forum reputation, which is never good for any forum.

I would think that, with the amount of algos out there that fight link farms, low content sites and content farms etc, as well as the usual Google algos that BH users would see the light and realize that what they're doing is wrong. but doesn't work that way. So its up to us members and moderators to maintain a forum's quality.
