how do i recover deleted files 14th January 2012 7:46 AM
yeah. That's the down side of it all. You have to highlight the individual files to restore them one at a time. It's kinda time consuming, but better than having to pay for the restoration of a file. It will show you every deleted file you have that is ready to be overwritten. Depending how much you worked on the pc up until now, you might be able to restore them all.

Not head about these sort of companies before, interesting.

Going back to your point on whiplash is the kind of the easiest thing to fake, must agree so maybe that's part of the reason why there so many of them.

How many times have you seen sitcoms where someone fakes whiplash to get out of something or to get sympathy? lol I've been seeing that in sitcoms since I was a young child. It just showed people how easy it really is to fake something like that.

As for the insurance, it could only be here in SA, but there are at least 3 or 4 major insurance companies that claim they treat you as an individual and won't judge you or charge you for the way others drive.
Ahem, well I better own up...

....Flash Gordon by Queen.

I have that album as well as a few other queen LP's.

first thing's first, don't use your computer. Your PC does not really delete the files, but rather renders them invisible so that it can overwrite the existing files with new ones.

The best option would be to find a recovery program like restoration I have used it before and its quite easy and quick. It's also freeware so there's no cost for the recovery.
Exactly. As an example, I bought a video editor to help me with videos I am creating for work (no, not camtasia). I have a video already made, but its enormous, and I need to cut it down to size. Which camtasia seemed to have major issues with. So, once again I was trawling the web to find a new editor. I finally found one, and gave the free trial a go. It started to p**** the audio on the vid and I was already impressed because camtasia refused to even load the vid. So on that, I bought the editor (it wasn't even expensive). A few days down the line, I am still trying to get the vid to load, but at the same time I am in constant contact with the creators of the editor, giving me advice on what I could do to be able to work on the vid. I mean, lol they even apologized for the inconvenience, where there clearly wasn't any.

This makes me respect the company more, and actually enjoy working with the editor because I know I have a safety net if something goes wrong.
It's kinda the easiest thing to fake. Slap on a neck brace and pretend that it hurts when your move your neck. Tell you what they can do though Take the ones that are found out as frauds, and put them in that Nissan Jeremy was testing in Japan. The they can truly feel what it feels like.

To be serious though, fake insurance claims are a thing all over the world. That much I know. You are always going to find someone that takes advantage of some or other system, and everyone else has to deal with the consequences. Nowdays, to try alleviate any fears people have with these companies, they claim that they insure you as an individual and according to the way you drive... I think that's just another marketing gimmick TBH.
not really. You can still buy em here in most pawn shops. I generally buy the good ones before others turn em into arts n crafts (wastage).

My first one was the AC/DC album - The Razor's edge. which I gave to a friend about 2 weeks later and have kicked myself since then. I was starting high school when I bought it.

I did get the cd a few years ago though..

The site itself is packed with information. I will add a few more links here as well, as I feel the information is just as useful as the course is.

Here is another pearl. A guide to SEO. There is also a downloadable PDF that you can download and print and work off. SEO Guide

And also this, which was a little complicated at first, but once I got stuck into it, it made a lot of sense. Search Engine ranking factors. There are a lot of tabs to go through and shows you how they have analyzed the process. There are also excel sheet downloads that you can go through with more information added.

Thanks for the sticky I'm stoked.

Considering my last rants I thought I would do something constructive this time. I was reading through seomoz, and found this pearl. Mind you, its really long, so forgive me.

This is a complete guide to online marketing from the ground up. it's meant for newbies, but it gave me a bit of a refresher course as well.

The guide is called The noob guide to online marketing, and is packed with information and even infographics.

You can read through the guide here: seomoz

Tell me what you think. Did they miss something, or did it give you a little more information?
