Advice Please - Break In 29th July 2011 4:14 PM
Hi Tomsk

Firstly sorry to hear the news - its a pain - duno if you read my post a few weeks back but someone tried getting in to my house but didnt actually get in.

Im an ex broker so happy to help with any queries you may have about your policy - im not aware of any company that will help you in the way you are hoping but they may well appoint a loss adjuster who acts as a go between you and the insurance company.

The policy may be daunting to read through but everything you need to know about your cover will be in there somewhere!

Please feel free to pm me for my number if you want a chat and im happy to give you some pointers
e-Registrars.com - spam ! 21st July 2011 4:22 PM
Update

I still regularly get 4 or 5 emails a day from e-registrars.com - i have that many rules created now but they still seem to sneak through somehow.

Would have thought they would have got the message by now but just goes to show the mentality of these people.

As of today, this post is still P1 Google
34000 Police jobs to be axed 21st July 2011 3:30 PM
What a sad story this is - 34,000 police jobs to be scrapped - *UK News - MSN News UK

16000 + actual Police officers will be axed between now & 2015

After only recently using my local force, 6 officers responded so well and within minutes to my 999 call when someone tried breaking in to my house, I wonder how many officers would turn up next time and how long it will take if the numbers of Police are reduced,- i obviously never really want to find out but does make you worry just thinking about 16000 less Police officers about!

School Holidays 20th July 2011 2:58 PM
Well the 6/7 week school holidays fast approach and like most parents im now faced with a dilemma on how im going to keep my 2 occupied for the weeks i have them.

School holidays must cost parents and businesses a fortune. How does it affect you and your business? Do you farm them out to family, friends or day centres?

Divorce does have advantages here, im fairly lucky in that my ex and i only have 3 weeks each to cover. Im working from home next week and then im going away for the best part of 2 weeks in August so thats my shift done lol

But if i couldnt work from home next week id be out of pocket running them around to friends/family or stumping up the costs of day time activities!

Anyone know why we have such a long break?
How about a survey for the most untrustworthy professions?

No win no fee lawyers
Estate Agents
Double Glazing salesmen
in fact Salesmen

In response to the untrustworthy profession, newspaper reporters?

Can do later possibly ?
But its not all bad for the Highstreet.

Stratford Council reduced the parking fees in the town centre recently, so for only 50p, you can park for 30 minutes and window shop at all the whitewashed and boarded up shops

Or of course drive to the new retail park, and park for free...

Well think again! Most retail parks now have a parking limit, 2 - 4 hours depending on how many shops the park has - normally a tiny little board advises you of this as you drive in -even our local McD's has a time limit to eat in with a restriction of no return within a set time frame! Be aware you don't get caught out!
