I'm surprised that they got planning consent as the river Thames is literally no more than a roads width away.....

Also you have have a log of what has been said if it is done via social media unlike a phone call.... Small Business and the EU referendum - what do you think? 27th November 2015 1:47 AM Personally I think the issues over migration, border controls or rather lack of them, not to mention the recent atrocities in Paris, will make the majority of UK vote no. There is nothing wrong with a Common Market so that we can all trade on an equal footing, it's everything else that being part of the EU gets up peoples backs and we have no control over it. And it is no good Cameron saying he's going to renegotiate our terms with the EU... Too little to late now... Even some of the other EU countries are now beginning to close their open borders policies... For some things, they should bring back flogging.. 27th November 2015 1:25 AM Ahem.... Just before any of you vigilantes start beating the local youths up, or sharpening up your axes in your sheds... Or practicing on your axe swinging actions, Or cleaning the blood of your last victim from the chopping board..... You might want to put it on hold for the time being Hardly surprising the kids of today feel hard done by...... There was a good reason why we done away with capital punishment in this country....... Strange.... 27th November 2015 12:14 AM 5 weeks ago I swear to god, I fitted a new boiler for the neighbours next door to this house I would love to know the running costs of an electric vehicle, i.e. re-charge the batteries from flat to full charge in comparison to a tank of petrol / diesel against same mileage/ conditions. I'm not convinced one is greener than the other, although am toying with the idea of getting an electric motor, not sure what happens if you go completely flat out in the countryside, does someone pop out with like a defibrillator machine, say stand back and give the mother of all charges to your motor, or whether you have to wait for a tow truck.... Wait till we all go to war, then we'll all have fuel rationed and the price will rocket.... Just a matter of time..... Now the Turks have decided to take pot shots at the Russians..... Credit and debit card processing 24th November 2015 10:36 AM Yup agree, if you want quick results better to have a spat with customers services either through twitter or facebook, have done this 3 times with various companies and everything miraculously getting sorted out on the same day.... beats the numerous telephone calls.. THE HOGGING OF THE LANES ON MOTORWAYS 23rd November 2015 11:34 AM I don't think it is possible to change peoples mindsets on which particular lane they drive in. Some will always drive in the outside lane, some in the middle and some in the inside... Not really sure that it is much of an issue, if you go on the M25 all 4 lanes are blocked at certain times of the day. From memory coaches and lorries were restricted to 60mph on a motorway, so the only people hogging the middle lane would be fellow coach drivers and truckers......What annoys me are 2 lane motorways such as the M11 and a lorry or coach decides to overtake the vehicle in front, which then takes around 10 minutes to carry the action out as the overtaking vehicle is doing around 2mph faster than the vehicle it is overtaking... subsequently causing a 3 mile tailback for all us van drivers... |
