Since installing my new payment process where the customers pays on site ,rather than leaving is paying dividends now and my abandon cart rate has fallen dramatically.So looks like a good investment after all ,although still have a way to go to recoup the £300 odd it cost to fix and install for UK

Hi there ... Problem with online shops is there are so many.

But it boils down to do you want a out of the box site or are you willing to put some effort into learning how to build 1..Out of the box sites are good but lack function and often limit you to a 100 or so products,free versions like I use can have a multitude of add on's + you can adjust to suite your liking..For example I use zencart and am able to tinker as much as I like.Will be happy to help if needed

Just had a thought you would possibly better off using wordpress as you can do all sorts of things  ..But just to warn you it is not easy at first but you get the hang of it in the end ...weird me saying that as I hate wordpress lol

Have you guys heard about apple and their taxes avoidance here .. Now I am not against apple as I have a Iphone...

But I am a little gobsmacked they have been allowed to get away with it for long . It is no wonder they have been able to bring out such good products..Or am I wrong ... I also think Ireland should be fined for letting this happen as well ,let alone letting apple only pay something like 0.005% tax. So yes they should be forced to pay it back ,maybe not all at once but over the next 10 years or so.. Wonder how many other companies are getting away with this ,but I think their time is coming as they get found out

I'm with you on all they care about is £££££.. I've never had so many fines in this country until I started driving in London.. I've been here since 1998 had 1 parking fine ( and only got it cos they put them up the day before and I didn't know about them as I parked there all the time) and 2 speeding tickets... ! year in London get enter a yellow box fine , get a cycle no entry lane ( it's a 2 way road ?????? and another fine for no right entry on a empty road into Elephant and Castle

Don't talk to me about charges in London , I haven't had a parking fine as such ,but they are so regimental about fines ..Also using cameras to fine people should be made illegal as it seems every council has different ideas of a fine and not knowing London really gets my goat. Most times you are looking where you are going ,being in the right lane ,trying to see where you are going, then you get a fine for missing a tiny sign saying no right turn or no car sign lol

When adding your details to these directories just be careful as I have read some of them can actually harm your presence on the net these days ...ie if google is penalising that particular site and if you add your details it may harm your site too ... As usual I don't make claim to this only what I read
