I was expecting a parcel from BT on 02.01.19 which was delayed . I was then given a delivery date of 04.01 19 between 16.00 and 17.00 hours this was received by text message. No parcel arrived! I tracked the parcel and found that it had been returned to the depot. No explanation! On 05.01.19 I tried to contact Exeter depot and got an automated line which asked for my tracking no. I gave the tracking no. seven times and each time it repeated back a no. that had no relationship to the number I had given. I gave up in frustration! I then decided to go to my local sorting office to speak to a HUMAN and was told that parcel force has nothing to do with Royal Mail. This gentleman was very sympathetic to my problem and managed to phone the driver who confirmed that he had had my parcel but had "run out of time" so had returned it to the depot and it would be delivered on Monday. I won't hold my breath! I find this service totally unacceptable and in the meantime I still have problems with my broadband until the parcel is delivered!

In recent weeks the mail delivery in the Linden Vale part
of Howell road has been rather erratic. Our regular postman of several years, seems to have disappeared. We
hope all is well with him. He was an excellent postman.
