I needed to speak to a Tax Advisor as my enquiry is not of usual nature and can't be resolved by going online. As one can't write to the Chester office or visit I phoned. I waited 25 minutes before I received a reply! What are the rules regarding not answering the phone? If there aren't any rules there should be!
I was told it is impossible to meet up with a Tax Advisor for personal advice which would suit the circumstances.
How are people to be clear about their Tax Affairs with such reluctance from HMRC to advise or help p;eople with genuine concerns?
