Just returned from Wellington Road sorting office after being told I couldn't return an item because the parcel didn't bare the Royal mail logo and that they didn't take Amazon return parcels
As the parcel was heavy I had to take a taxi which cost £14:40 in all and all for nothing.
When I returned home I rechecked my paperwork which clearly stated 'Post Office return'
Thanks for nothing Royal Mail.

I have not been receiving certain items of mail in recent weeks and this has included bank statements, which has resulted in me having to, for example, pay extra for late payments to credit cards. I was so annoyed about this I wanted to carry out a test and actually posted a first class letter to myself on Monday 3 November and it didn't arrive until Friday 14 November! One of the problems is that we seem to have a different postman every few weeks resulting, for some unknown reason, in my mail not arriving until late afternoon, and some of it being delivered to building elsewhere on the street. The current service is shoddy and unreliable. Whatever happened to the days when one had the same postman or woman for a year or more and one could actually trust the service?

Fail on ALL counts.....Location, ease of customer use, high cost of picking up a parcel I've already paid the postage on (because the foul customs service want money off me for the package, and Royal Mail charge ?8 for the 'work' they have to do to deal with it....?8??) and I can't specify a single day I want it delivered....Only a vague 'within 2 days', which is useless for someone who works for a living.....

I am absolutely sick to death of the poor service we receive from the Postman who delivers in Stourfield Road, Southbourne. I have had parcels go missing, one item that was registered mail was signed for as being delivered when I was on holiday.
One of my parcels ended up being kicked down the street last week by a child.
PLEASE someone do something about this and employ someone who cares about their job and does it properly.
