Why we charge £1.00
It is an anti-spam charge as much as a price. Listings used to be free, and free attracted false addresses and businesses that did not exist.
Asking for £1.00 removes almost all of that, at a price no genuine business notices. It keeps the directory clean for the people searching it, and for the businesses listed alongside you.
