Located right in the heart of Lowestoft, Waterlane Leisure Centre is perfectly placed to help the whole community get active. The centre boasts a huge array of first-class facilities to suit everyone, regardless of your exercise preferences. These include an enormous, well-equipped gym, a group exercise studio that offers a wide range of classes, as well as both a 25m main pool and a smaller teaching pool. There’s also a climbing wall, sports hall, dedicated group cycling studio, squash courts, soft play area, café and thermal suite, which includes a hot tub, steam room, sauna, ice fountain, relax beds and heated beds.
Come and enjoy either our teaching pool or our six-lane, 25m swimming pool. They play host to our award-winning swimming lessons, while you can also enjoy fitness swimming and aqua aerobics.
Our group fitness studios are fully air-conditioned and are home to a range of classes every a week. These include the Les Mills classes as well as group cycling, Yoga, Pilates, aerobics and Zumba.
Our air-conditioned, 150-station gym features predominantly the very latest TechnoGym equipment. This includes a dedicated functional area, a free weights section, CV and resistance machines.
Our East Face Climbing Wall was built in March 2018. We have 18 lines of excellent rope climbing on a massive 30 foot/9 metre wall including 8 auto belays.
