Based in Shelthorpe, Loughborough Crematorium was built for the Borough of Loughborough in 1960, with a special dedication service from the Lord Bishop of Leicester.

In 1993, the crematorium was extended and many improvements were made to the building. Extensive refurbishments took place and a redesign of the entrance area, which is now sheltered to provide your family and friends with protection from bad weather. The All Souls Chapel was rededicated in January 1995, and has plenty of room for larger funeral services.
