Welcome to our website. We are a small family Company based in the Cotswolds. Having over 20 years experience of working with natural stone, we carve all our surrounds from local quarried stone. This limestone was formed in the Jurassic period of over 165 million years ago.

Limestone is a sedimentary rock. It is made up of layers of calcium carbonate formed from the accumulation of organic matter in shallow seas, which is then turned to stone by millions of years of pressure. Limestone comes in a variety of densities and hardness and the stone we carve all our fire surrounds and hearths is a close grain stone which is strong yet durable. It is recognised as being a very sustainable building product and has been and is still be used all around the world. It has been used in many famous landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral and Windsor Castle.

Each block of stone has it's own beautiful characteristics ensuring that any quartz lines (veins) and markings (fossils) on your natural stone surround will be one of a kind and therefore unique. We do not use reconstituted, reclaimed or foreign imported Limestone. This is solid ENGLISH natural stone.

ALL OUR FIRE SURROUNDS ARE SUITABLE FOR ANY SOLID FUELS, STOVES, GEL FIRES, GAS OR ELECTRIC FIRE INSERTS.

We design and carve Natural Bath Stone Fire Surrounds and Hearths in all styles all of which will enhance any of your rooms. Whilst we are based in Gloucestershire we can deliver all of our fireplaces and hearths to anywhere throughout mainland England and Wales via national haulage company.
