RAC took wife's car here when clutch hydraulics failed. Work was done quickly but that's all that was positive. 1) clutch itself was changed without any authorisation (and it didn't need changing) 2) gearbox leaked oil all over drive as driveshaft oil seal not replaced 3) alloy casing of gearbox badly damaged as garage were too lazy to pull out driveshaft with correct tool and instead used a crowbar 4) air filter casing snapped when yanked out to get to gearbox 5) car left wife stranded even after repeat visit to fix faults above when gear linkage came undone as hadn't been reattached properly 6) master cylinder failed three weeks later leaving wife stranded again. Staff are incompetent, freely admitted job was rushed and were entirely unhelpful and rude. No compensation offered and gearbox is still at risk of early failure.
