About Red Lion
The Red Lion is a stylish country pub in Chelwood Gate, on the edge of Ashdown Forest. It was Turnaround Pub of the Year in the 2016 Shepherd Neame Awards and is known for its food. There are real ales, world wines, a garden, a regular quiz night, live music and function spaces. President J F Kennedy enjoyed a drink here in 1963.
