Man-made materials such as nylon, certain plastics, and polyester fabrics contain polymers that when heated, enable the bonding of ink. As a result dye-sublimation printing produces beautiful and permanent colours that are embedded in the substrate or fabric, rather than printed on the surface. So images on fabric won’t fade or crack even after multiple washings. And images on hard substrates will not chip, peel or scratch. Don’t be put off by polyester by the way. On traditional t-shirts we challenge you to tell the difference between polyester and cotton. And for training t-shirts polyester is ideal because unlike cotton that traps moisture and can become heavy, soggy and clingy, our polyester performance shirts pull perspiration away from the skin to the surface of the shirt, where it evaporates rapidly.
