I bought an item from them on Discogs, it arrived minus the card inner sleeve with credits and band pictures that came with all first issues (which this was) The whole point of being a collector is getting the item intact and with all original packaging, this fact seems to be lost on them.
When questioning them about this they said that it was my fault for not asking, as opposed to them stating this on their listing, my argument is that as it was listed with pictures of the inner sleeve and it is down to them to take responsibility for informing people what they are going to get when they place an order, I would not have purchased if they had stated it was not present.
The tone of the mails sent ( from a person called Bob) were condescending, refusing to take any responsibility, provide a partial refund or pay for return postage (which they have to under the sale of goods act) I was even accused of threatening them, which I was not the case, I was just stating the courses of actions open to me should they not provide a satisfactory resolution, which they only grudgingly did after some persistence on my part
Interesting that their advertising states that they “focus on customer satisfaction” I would respond REALLY ?
I am sure Lilley’s will put some derogatory comment blaming me for their actions, if they do it only goes to prove my point, they left negative personal remarks in the feedback on Discogs so that gives an impression of what you are dealing with I wold recommend you avoid at all costs.
