Lianne Herbert has been writing from young. Lianne has had several plays performed by Deafinitely Theatre and a screen play also recorded. Lianne has also published poems, articles and monologues for various companies. Of which one was for the defunct gal-dem about mental health and deafness. Lianne campaigns for mental health to be more spoked about. Especially in relation to deafness. Lianne wants to publish children’s books and a manga series as Lianne wants other Black Deaf children to feel seen in picture books/Manga series.
