Dealing with person who took the order and the order process was good and I have no complaints. However I paid for next day delivery and waited in all day but the ladder was not delivered. I do not know why this was and wasn't contacted by Ladderstore or the delivery company to explain the failure to deliver.

Excellent service with v helpful customer service dept. Product ticked all the boxes. Could be a little droll and suggest that it might be a challenge for a less than fit OAP to fit!!

Product was just as described and delivery was excellent.
I have just one suggestion and that would be for you to indicate the drill size needed for the screws. It took me 3 different drills to find the right one.

I ordered a loft ladder on the 6th Jan 2015 and it arrived on the 8th Jan, excellent service, I had to contact the company and was very impressed with the high level of service I had from them also, will definitely order from this company again and will recommend them.

Our experienced team will help you choose the best solution to your access query and if we cannot find a standard product we work closely with all the leading UK manufacturers to design and manufacture a bespoke solution for you.
Ladderstore was started in Bolton in 2004 by Gail Hounslea (who is now the Managing Director). We are independent specialists in all things working at height and work alongside all the UK and European manufacturers. Safety is our thing and we are Ladder Association accredited trainers – Gill Robinson our Operations Director sits on the Ladder Association Training Committee. We have developed a Ladder Log Asset Management System that is simple to use and widely used by companies of all sizes (including Housing Associations, NHS, large building companies and many high street retailers).

Our Products & Services
We have worked hard in order to offer our customers bespoke solutions and have assisted many large companies to come up with a made to order product to suit very varied applications. Ladderstore is one of the main providers in the UK of rolling/library ladders and have worked with many prestigious companies to manufacture and design these custom made stylish solutions for bars, large retail shops and homes around the UK.
Ladderstore is also able to design all sorts of custom built Working at Height products from ‘back of the fag packet’ drawings to highly technical architects drawings and in most instances provide a technical drawing and specification for our customer where required.
Ladderstore works alongside the HSE in its annual Ladder Exchange (we have exchanged over 500 dodgy ladders in the last couple of years). We are also part of the Haydock Working Well Together Group. This helps smaller construction companies learn about health and safety issues from the HSE, larger construction companies and other partners.
Gill Robinson our Operations Director sits on the Training Committee of the UK Ladder Association and is an expert in the Working at Height field. She is able to give advice on the technical side of Working at Height and oversees our Training Courses that are run on a regular basis. We also have an experienced trained team that can carry out detailed Ladder Inspections throughout the North West.
Suppliers
Ladderstore is a Preferred Supplier of most of the UK’s Ladder Manufacturers and work closely with Youngman, Abru, Lyte, Bratts. MFB, Chase and all the other UK manufacturers. We are also a Preferred Supplier of the German companies Zarges and Hailo. If our customer needs a demonstration or visit we can normally sort out one of our experienced staff or our manufacturing partners Sales Team to make a visit where required.

Our team try to put the customer at the heart of all we do and we undergo frequent training to enable us to deliver industry leading innovation. Ladderstore has a technical team who are continually updating the website with new products, extra facts and better descriptions. Our friendly, enthusiastic and helpful customer service team works with existing and new customers to recommend the safest option for our customer’s job taking into account all the latest health and safety information.

I have looked into this and although it was dispatched with your stand off it was lost by the courier company and we did not know anything about it until you contacted us. Taylor has now tracked the ladder and it is out for delivery today. Your next day delivery charge has been refunded. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Service was excellent and easy to execute on your website however as an ex-ironmonger with Allgood plc for many years I felt that I had to protest at the cost of a catch for a Mid made Lex old style 85mm loft ladder which is now 14 years old. The ladder is fantastic but am now on my third catch which is nothing more than a cheap mortice budget lock whereas a more robust version of this lock on sale in this country costs just over a fiver. I realise that you have to stock these things but at six times the price of an English one? I don't mind paying a premium for the item and the service but this ought to be realistic at least. May I suggest you contact the Midmade people and propose that you could supply a much more robust lock of English manufacture at a fraction of their costs. I note that a new model has since come out and sincerely trust that a new budget lock has been employed. Thank you for your comments - we appreciate feedback both good and bad. We do sell a lot of these locks but they are brought into the UK by the Midmade UK Distributor and are expensive compared to other locks out there - they are the original ones supplied by Midmade. I will relay your comments back to Midmade and hope that you don't have to replace it again.

Had to call company due to very small loft opening - decided I needed telescopic ladder to solve problem. They honoured my discount for using their guaranteed fit service for the telescopic ladder. Ordered lunchtime and arrived 12.30 the next day. Very helpful staff and pleased with product so far! Would recommend the company to friends and family.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Customer service is ZERO stars. They don't deliver when the say they will, even when you pay for next day service and then do not inform you that your order will not be delivered. I had to chase them to find out where my order was and even when promised a delivery date, I had to chase them yet again only to find out that my order hadn't been sent out. Blame was given to manufacturers, their staff and yet this wasn't the first time. For my inconvenience of wasting two days waiting for two non despatched orders, they offered to refund 24hr delivery. Wow! Generosity to the extreme

We can only apologise about this and will be putting measures in place to ensure it doesn't happen again.
