Jacksons Opticians has been practising for over 50 years. In March 2014 present owners and brothers-in-law, Matt Woolhouse and Robert Blow bought the practice
Matt is a fully qualified Ophthalmic Optician who lives locally and worked at Jacksons in the early 00s just before and after the move from the corner of George Street.
Matt qualified from the University of Bradford in 1992 and after passing his professional exams in 1993 he has been working as a full-time Optician. Matt is currently testing 5 days a week at the practice and we also have a second Optician, Mr. Richard Sharp, testing one day a week for us.
