after calling various numbers getting cut off, get through.

Royal mail are difficult people to deal with. I don't know why they bother having a customer services department at all. It would seem their function is merely to fulfil a requirement of the organisation and is just perfunctory. Delay in responding or non-responding, passing callers around to other departments are all part of their style before they finally tell you you're up a gum tree. What's wrong with these people?

Just tried to contact this service. The 'phone rang for 3 minutes before an automated message cut me off. Rank rotten service.

I posted a packet to my daughter in Cambridge, from my local post office Jon O Groats, for whom I have the highest respect and can't fault them in anyway, unfortunately today the same packet came back delivered by Wick local postie, who did not knock the door , inspite of the fact I sent the packet to Cambridge recorded delivery, and he should have knocked although I was not surprised as it was clearly marked deliver to Mrs S Dennington in Camb, not Mrs J lawson Canisbay. I am not happy with this it is the second xmas this has happened, I am unable to get through to anyone to ask why this happens. Busy Lines, I am not surprised.
