I'm living in Moseley and thought I could save myself some hassle by just dropping it off there for an MOT. To make a long story short they failed my car and wanted me to pay ?380 to get it fixed. When I said that I wanted to take my car back with me before I get everything done they got rather unfriendly and said I would have to pay the MOT fee again if I do that. I still did it and went to a place one of my friends recommended. I ended up paying ?120 to get the car fixed (I still failed it though). When I spoke to the mechanic later on he mentioned that the rubber rings Halfords put on the list were "recommendations" from Renault to be replaced but weren't necessary... I always heard people saying that Halfords is too expensive and they are cheeky as hell. I guess I learned my lesson.
