Dr Mirza is a highly-experienced consultant neurologist, super specialized in seizures and epilepsy. He sees patients in Merseyside & Lancashire, and online from across the country. Dr Mirza sees patients with confirmed/possible seizure(s) who desire a prompt & thorough diagnostic evaluation. He assesses & treats patients with difficult-to-treat epilepsies referred by other neurologists. He co-leads the regional adolescent epilepsy clinic, where he sees young people with complex severe genetic epilepsies, referred from hospitals throughout the region. He has won numerous awards, such as the MRC Centenary Award, and the Uschi Tschabitscher Prize from the European Neurological Society and the European Federation of Neurological Societies.
