Cleevely Memorials

A direct descendant of the Cleevely craftsmen of Charlton Kings, Christopher is proud of his ancestry and the fact he has inherited the ability to work artistically with his hands just as his forefathers did before him.

Christopher has been a monumental mason all his life. He began as an apprentice at E. M. & F. Willets in Cheltenham in 1980 under the watchful eye of Frank Stephens where he was taught century old skills by some of the best masons in Gloucestershire. He continued to work at Willetts until due to ill health Frank Stephens sold the company to a chain of memorial masons in 1992.

It was then that Christopher began working for himself. A skilled craftsman, respected by both his customers and other masons for his perfectionism and attention to detail, meant his business soon became established
