Barracloughs the Opticians

We're proud to be a family-run, award-winning opticians in Hastings - caring for eyes since 1957. Over the years we have gained a reputation founded on expertise combined with a kind and helpful manner. The very first practice was actually opened in Norman Road, St. Leonards. In 1982 we moved to our London Road premises followed by our move to Sedlescombe Road North in July 2015. It's fantastic to be an independent business who are a part of the Silverhill community.

We provide comprehensive eye sight tests plus advanced retinal imaging and screening to ensure we spot any changes in your vision or eye health as early as possible.

Investing in the latest technology and equipment such as OCT imaging and Optomap® retinal scanning and keeping the practices modern and up to date has all helped in passing the 65 year milestone.
