John Ainslie and Daniel MacAulay established the company in 1967. Since then Ainslie & MacAuley has been one of the premier slaters and roof tilers in Fife and surrounding areas.
History of Ainslie & MacAulay
In 1967 the company was started with two week's wages on a labour only basis. Rapidly it progressed to being a supply and fix operation. Materials were purchased directly and the business grew.
In 1976 John Ainslie bought out the partner and from a standing start developed the business. A purpose built office was built on the same site as the yard at East Grange in 1994.
