HMRC are starting the program of Making Tax Digital [MTD] in April 2019. Are you prepared for the changes needed and how this will impact your business?

On 1st April 2019, all UK businesses (including charities) that are VAT registered with taxable turnover above £85,000 will be required to keep their records digitally and submit their VAT returns quarterly on MTD-compliant software with penalties being charged for non-compliance.

There are a few exceptions to this, so if you would like to check your position - contact our MTD specialist at Winchester Bourne Ltd for guidance.

What is the lowest you can go without having to vat register with HMRC or is it still the same

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the reminders for people about the MTD starting. It's definitely a time of change! Is it next year that all businesses will need to be doing it online?
